5 Days tour from Marrakech to desert

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Skoura
We’ll meet you in Marrakech about 8 a.m. and drive through the dramatic Tizi n tichka pass to Ouarzazate (2260 m). Along the route you will see panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. On the way we stop at the most “film” Ksar Morocco – Ait Benhaddou. It is the most famous Moroccan ksar (UNESCO), which is a tiny fortified town perched on the hillside. The place where the filmed scenes for such Hollywood blockbusters as “Gladiator” or “Jewel of the Nile” and we get to the palm groves of Skoura for an overnight here

Day 2: Skoura – Dades – Todra Gorges – Tamtatoucht
In the morning we go further southeast to Dades Gorges and Todgha gorges along arid landscapes and mountains. We will visit a town called Tineghir where to explore the daily life of the locals. We continue up through the canyons of Todra which is famous for rock climbing until the Berber village of Tamtatoucht where we spend the night

Day 3: Tamtatoucht – Amelagou – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)
We travel along arid landscapes and mountains, we pass many Berber villages in the valley of Ait Hani we get to Erfoud. Here we visit a local fossil’s factories where they make beautiful things made from rock of mountains. Then we’ll head for the Erg Chebbi. You will enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert and the sunset over golden dunes. Overnight in a Berber camp

Day 4: Merzouga – Tazarine – Agdez
After enjoying the amazing sunrise among the sand dunes and breakfast, you ride back your camels to the Auberge. After breakfast we set off on a longer journey which aims Agdez where we have an overnight at the hotel. Passes by numerous palm groves with characteristic for this part of the country’s architecture, which consists of fortified Berber villages and granaries integrated into the landscape oases and mountains

Day 5: Agdez – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
We head to Ouarzazate where you we visit the filmmaking studios. We walking Film Studies which walls guns huge Egyptian statues. Studies extend over 30 thousand. m² desert landscape, here filmed hundreds of films. We drive towards Marrakesh via Tizi N’Tichka pass throughout the high Atlas Mountains we will have time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes. End of the trip
